Galba, 68-69. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.28 g, 6 h), Spain (Tarraco?), April - late 68. GALBA IMPERATOR Laureate head of Galba to right, globe at point of bust. Rev. VIRTVS Virtus standing left, holding Victory in her outstretched right hand and parazonium in her left hand. BMC 194 var. (IMP instead of IMPERATOR). Cohen 210. RIC 30 var. (IMP instead of IMPERATOR). Nicely toned. The edges lightly chipped, otherwise, about very fine.
